A threshold installation setting the tone for arrival into the lodge and surrounding landscape. The installation uses climbing hardware as both structural and symbolic reference to mountaineering culture. Environmental imagery and considered material pairings establish a grounded prelude to the lodge experience.
In collaboration with Joe Chambers, I developed the concept into a buildable system through iterative prototyping and material testing—resolving attachment methods, assembly sequence, and structural performance.
